The new Extrema version shakes things up, injecting another healthy dose of sporty personality into the mix with an exclusive checkered flag livery and single seat cowl.

Race Feel

The Aprilia RS 660 Extrema also ups the ante when it comes to technology, courtesy of reverse gear software, a great element if you’re not only concerned about aesthetics but are also looking for a true Racing bike set-up.

Weight reduction

Among the key latest features is the SC Project exhaust, which combines with a new carbon lower fairing designed especially for this model, along with the carbon front mudguard. A reduction of an impressive 6.6 lbs compared to the classic Aprilia RS 660.

ENGINE

Engine modifications are as follows: secondary air system and thermostat is deleted. Right and left side engine protection is covered by aluminum.

LIMITED RELEASE

A limited release of just 1500 units worldwide, with the number printed on a shield on the fuel tank

The Tuareg 660 is faithful to Aprilia chassis tradition - synonymous with excellence - thanks to a new tubular steel frame coupled with aluminium brackets and connected to the engine at six points, a wheelbase of just over 1500 mm, and the careful distribution of weight and centralisation of masses.

The parallel-twin engine now delivers maximum power of 80 HP, peak torque of 70 Nm and a significantly boosted low/mid-range curve. The sump reduces the vertical footprint, for a ground clearance of more than 240 mm and a seat height of less than 860 mm.

Top electronics

With six Riding Modes, three each for both road and track, riders simply need to select the preferred setting and parameters such as Traction Control, Wheelie Control, ABS and the engine brake will be automatically adjusted to deliver the mode selected.
